Heavy Duty Adjustable Bench 3.0 (w Leg Roller)

I've had the bench almost a week now. It is pretty darn solid, but there are a few items worth mentioning. This thing arrived at my door FAST! When I received the bench, the box arrived in pretty great shape for how heavy the bench is. The backrest had come out of the bag in shipping, and the styrofoam packing melted or stuck to the back corners of the backrest pad. I cant seem to get it off the pad. I also noted I was missing 8 washers for the bolts that hold the backrest and seat pads on. The next item I noted were the leg roller washers. The red bench on the website showed those to be black, so I figured my red bench would come with black ones as well.... it did not. My leg roller washers are chrome and kind of stick out like a sore thumb. I contacted customer service to see if I could order the parts I was hoping for and was informed I couldn't. That made me a little nervous to hear I could not purchase replacement parts. I was also advised I could paint the washers.

Next and probably most important, is an unfinished portion of the bench. The square metal tube that the leg roller gets inserted into at the upper backrest was not finished in the manufacturing process. There are really coarse sharp edges on the opening of the square tubing. The problem is, its scratched off the finish on the leg roller attachment in different places. I'm stuck in an odd situation because I could remove the sharp edges with a file and save the leg roller, but that would remove the finish from the bench. I could just leave it and it will continue to remove the finish of the leg roller. It's a no win situation. I know I could touch it all up after reworking these spots, but I shouldn't have to address these issues on a brand new product. I have photos of all of these issues.

Knowing I cant get replacement parts, being advised by customer service that I could paint the chrome washers myself to make them black like on the website, and having the unfinished portion of the bench beginning to eat itself, I've decided to put this one up for sale and purchase elsewhere.

It IS a solid bench, and seems extremely reliable for workout routines that are far more advanced than I am. I have no doubt that the main portion of this bench will outlive me.

This is an excellent built bench. I like everything about it. I was looking at other benches through different companies and I’m so happy that I went with this one. The shipping was also extremely fast. I ordered it in the evening and it shipped out the very next day. This is the highest quality bench I’ve ever used in 31 years of lifting. I highly recommend it to anyone!
